Privacy Policy
Local Music Organizer processes music-library information and audio files locally on the user’s Mac.
Data collection
The application does not collect personal data, analytics, diagnostics, advertising identifiers, usage history, contacts or location information. It does not create user accounts and does not use tracking technologies.
Local files and Music.app
The application accesses Music.app and files or folders selected by the user to provide organization, diagnostics, artwork inspection, conversion and maintenance features. Audio, metadata, artwork, playlists and conversion output remain on the user’s Mac and are not uploaded to the developer or third parties.
Third-party components
Bundled open-source audio engines run locally inside the application. They are not advertising or analytics SDKs and are not used to transmit user data.
Local storage and deletion
Preferences, folder permissions, optional caches and optional logs are stored locally. Users can clear caches and logs in the application or remove the application and its local container data through macOS. The developer has no server-side user data to retain or delete.
Network access
The Mac App Store release does not require an internet connection for library analysis or conversion and does not contact a developer-operated activation or licensing server. Apple StoreKit may communicate with Apple to verify that the paid application was downloaded for the current Mac. The developer does not receive the user’s Apple Account credentials or StoreKit verification data. Links opened by the user, such as the website or a Discogs search, open in the user’s web browser.
